Supporting our neighbors in need during COVID-19

With the spread of coronavirus in the United States, many of our neighbors are vulnerable or in need. We want to help them stay in their homes and avoid public places by kicking off a program to pair them with fellow neighbors in Capitol View.

We’re asking volunteers to run errands such as picking up groceries or medications.

We also have volunteers willing to help people negotiate things like filing for unemployment online, or getting deferrals on different types of payments.

We know that self-isolation is one of the most effective ways to prevent the spread of coronavirus, but it can also get lonely. We’re asking volunteers to give their neighbor a call every couple of days to check in on them and see if they need anything.

We’ll be pairing up neighbors who live near each other. If you are interested in volunteering, or know someone in need, or have needs yourself, please fill out the form below, or contact Analiese O’Toole at (610) 504-1384.
