This extravaganza is a Capitol View Neighborhood Association, and other community-group sponsored event aimed to persuade neighbors to celebrate Earth Day on April 23rd, outside cleaning and supporting our local community. We will begin cleanup at 10:30am at various starting/resupply points in the neighborhood to try to best spread our resources. The event will supply pickers, trash bags, gloves and other resources to help volunteers. We will also be cleaning Perkerson Park and the creek sponsored by Georgia Rivers Alive. During the event, a map will be available to locate houses (yards and porches) and CV spots to stop for refreshments and activities and other Earth Day community themed events.
