Sign up to give out candy and be added to the candy map for the neighborhoods and/or to have your decorated house included in the Yard of the Month contest. Sign up here to let Trick or Treaters know you have treats to distribute. We will create a map of houses with goodies.

The Yard of the Month for October will recognize the homes that reflect a ghoulish Halloween theme. Capitol View, Capitol View Manor, and Sylvan Hills have joined together for a friendly competition to see who can create the “scariest” and most fun-filled Halloween.

You can nominate a home until October 25th by emailing Dr. HBO, Chair of the Beautification Committee, at estelle716@gmail.com. Send her a picture of the house you are nominating, the address, and the name/s of the residents if you know who they are.

We have a House Decoration Competition with a $200 prize attached. The winner will be selected from a final “top three” (one from each neighborhood: Sylvan Hills, Capitol View, and Capitol View Manor) Yards of the Month in SH, CV, and CVM. These final three will be the winners of each neighborhood’s “October Yard of the Month” (See below).
