Capitol View Earth Day Cleanup on April 25

Join us for a neighborhood Earth Day cleanup followed by a community gathering with food, activities, and time to connect with neighbors.

Cleanup (9:00 am – 12:00 pm)

We’ll kick off the morning with light refreshments and distributing supplies at community garden before heading out to clean up around the neighborhood.

• We’ll focus on:

  • Litter removal throughout the neighborhood

  • Garden bed cleanup and maintenance

  • Mulching and general beautification efforts

• Supplies will be provided, including:

  • Trash and recycling bags

  • Gloves

  • Litter pickers

Community Celebration (12:30 pm – 2:30 pm)

After the cleanup, join us back at the community garden at the corner of Athens and Deckner Aves for a casual, family-friendly gathering.

• We’ll have:

  • Lunch and refreshments

  • Plant giveaways

  • Kid-friendly activities (chalk, coloring, etc.)
